Gabriele Conte, the founder and heart of Poesie Veneziane, brings over 40 years of experience and unwavering dedication to crafting exquisite footwear. Throughout his career, he has woven a rich tapestry of collaborations with producers, boutiques, and retail partners across Italy.
Since 2012, Gabriele has channeled his wealth of experience and entrepreneurial fervor into creating Poesie Veneziane, fulfilling his lifelong ambition as both an entrepreneur and designer. Today, alongside Sebastiano, he spearheads the design process at Poesie Veneziane while nurturing relationships with our cherished retail clients.
SEBASTIANO CONTE
Sebastiano's journey into the fashion world began early, with after-school afternoons spent in his mother's artisanal sweater factory. Eager to broaden his horizons, he joined his father, Gabriele, on travels across Italy, immersing himself in the intricacies of the footwear business.
After six years in London pursuing advanced education, including an MSc in Creativity, Design & Innovation from Bayes Business School and Fashion Design courses at Central Saint Martins, Sebastiano brings a fresh perspective to Poesie Veneziane.
Today, he spearheads the brand's creative direction and product design, infusing it with an innovative spirit, a pursuit of quality, and a profound appreciation for design and craftsmanship.
